About the space
Located on the ground floor, the Tangaroa Exhibition Gallery hosts touring exhibitions, immersive experiences and cultural events throughout the year.
High ceilings and a generous floor area make this space ideal for large events and public experiences. The gallery includes dedicated box office and retail areas and is complemented by the adjoining foyer space for arrivals and extended activations.
Tangaroa Exhibition Gallery features:
- 1,290m2 with an additional 150m2 dedicated front of house space for entry, ticketing and retail.
- 5.4m from floor to the underside of the services, with steel support structure at a height of 5.65m. The gallery has a series of columns spaced approximately 9.6m apart.
- Heating and ventilation 18-22 degrees celcius. Humidity control can be activated if required. Relative humidity when activated 48-55% RH +/-5%.
- Dockway is serviced from a 9.3m wide service lane with direct drive on access into the exhibition space (small trucks, vans and forklifts).
- Single and three phase power, fibre and copper comms cabling, house and feature lighting.
