Accessibility
Tākina has been designed and built to be accessible for everyone. Tākina provides barrier-free access to people with physical disabilities, visual impairments and hearing impairments.
Wheelchair access
Tākina has access ramps at the two main entrances.
Internally there are lifts to all areas, accessible toilets on all floors, and an accessible parents’ room on Level 1.
All meeting spaces have easy access and ample circulation space around entranceways.
Vision impairment
Registered assistance dogs are welcome in all our spaces.
Assisted hearing
Tākina will has hearing assistance augmentation throughout the venue.
Listeners can easily select channel and volume level once their personal device is connected to the WiFi network.
Cloak rooms
Event organisers can choose from spaces to manage and store guests’ belongings.
