About the space
Wellington Foyer is a dramatic venue for evening events. Situated in Te Papa in front of a huge circular window, and in the middle of The Void – an artwork that travels the height of the museum.
Flanked by two of our most popular exhibitions, there's little needed in the way of decoration. However, if you do want to make an impact our AV team can create stunning lighting displays, or you can use the height of the space for hanging features.
Whatever you decide, the Wellington Foyer will be a venue your guests remember.
Wellington Foyer is available for evening functions as it's a public space in the museum.
